How to import multilingual data

The Multilanguage Import function in meddevo allows you to efficiently import data in various languages directly into the platform. This process works analogously to the Multilanguage Export, so you can conveniently transfer translations back into meddevo after working with an external partner (such as a translation agency).

Special feature:

During import, meddevo automatically assigns the translations to the correct languages by recognizing and matching the language codes (e.g., EN, DE, FR) used in the import file.

How to perform a Multilanguage Import

1. Prepare your import file (for example, an Excel spreadsheet) according to the instructions in the general Import Guide. Make sure to use the correct language abbreviations in the column titles (e.g., Intended Purpose DE, Intended Purpose EN).
2. Navigate to the relevant area or desired collection in meddevo.
3. Select the import function and upload your prepared file.
4. meddevo will automatically assign the entered values to the corresponding language fields. (1)
5. Review and confirm the data and the values assigned by meddevo.
6. Select the “Unique Identifier.” (2)
7. Click on “Import” to start the import process. (3)
